Established in January 2022, West Country Engineering Ltd. (WCE) provides our clients with the opportunity to return to a grassroots approach of engineering and project delivery. Based out of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, our team strives to provide excellent and consistent, on time/on budget services for all projects.
Our team has been designing, implementing, and managing projects in Central Alberta for many years. During this time, we have gained intimate knowledge of the local road networks and standard practices. We have established strong working relationships with our clients, and are continuously aiming to maintain and grow our network.

PROJECT MANAGER
23+ YEARS EXPERIENCE
​
Kelly has over 23 years of rural road and highway construction experience. Most of his experience took place in Alberta and includes many projects in Clearwater County where he resides. Kelly is responsible for client relations and project delivery; therefore, he is in tune with all aspects of construction projects, from concept to completion.
Kelly is our overall project coordinator, and will ensure that safety, budgetary, and quality standards, as well as landowner relations, are strictly adhered to. He has considerable experience in preliminary engineering works, design, drafting, estimating, tender and special provision development, construction supervision and contract administration, and post construction work.
28+ YEARS EXPERIENCE

Mike is a Project Manager with in-depth knowledge of grading, overlay, base paving, and bridge projects. He has worked in Alberta for the past 28 years, mostly in Clearwater and Brazeau County.
He has many years of construction related survey, tender preparation, and project management experience, including inspecting and reporting a contractor’s progress while following all applicable specifications and standards. With Mike’s extensive Contract and Construction background, he is well versed in all aspects of projects and project management.
